Shuttleworth Business Systems has launched Version 5.1 of its bestselling MIS, which includes ‘Business Intelligence’ a feature, which according to Shuttleworth's joint Managing Director Paul Deane, places this new edition of the software ‘beyond traditional dashboard technology’.
Available as a free upgrade to existing users, v5.1 provides users with a complete set of innovative tools, including enhanced Dashboards, Customer Specific KPI’s, User Definable Reporting, Executive Analysis and Web Based Reporting, together with Mobile Apps, all of which are aimed at helping customers to fully realise the power of their Shuttleworth MIS. The company's powerful integrated MIS package also encompasses a new user interface, which has an Outlook style, look and feel, thus making it easier and far more intuitive to use whilst providing a customisable view for each user. The interface also includes a drag and drop capability from Outlook. Shuttleworth used the occasion of the v5.1 launch to introduce its new division, ‘Shuttleworth Plus’, which is dedicated to delivering ‘Bespoke Development Solutions’ that include Reports, Dashboards, Mobile Apps and much more. Paul Deane commented: “To do our job well, and to provide a system that is as effective as it can be, we needed a dedicated resource to deliver unique solutions to specific requests, as no two businesses or requirements are the same”. Shuttleworth Plus offers a partnership approach, that will help any MIS user to grow and evolve his MIS system in line with his own business needs, and can thus be used to help develop all brands of MIS system, and not merely Shuttleworth systems. Paul Deane concluded, “We are very excited about the new v5.1 as it offers an end-to-end MIS for printers of all types and sizes. Today's printers face many challenges and in order to succeed and survive in the current difficult economic climate they need to add value to the supply chain and to deliver a world class customer service. We believe that v5.1 can provide all the tools users need to increase their performance and profitability, while Shuttleworth Plus can assist any MIS user who needs more focused and bespoke development to improve the efficacy of any trade name system.” For further information visit: www.shuttleworth-uk.co.uk
